Wow, what and amazing session! When you have access to a venue this gorgeous in a city this iconic with a couple this awesome…you get epic photographs.

Have I mentioned how much I love my job? Well, I do! One of the many perks of being a wedding photographer is traveling to some jaw-dropping locations. Although I’m technically considered a Sacramento wedding photographer, I’ve photographed quite a few weddings and engagement sessions in local destinations like Napa, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, and the Bay Area at large.

If you haven’t been to Napa Valley before, you’re really missing out. The city of Napa is filled with hidden gems tucked away in the rolling hills. This region of Northern California has views that look like something straight out of Tuscany, like the one from this unique proposal session between Callie and Tim.

Callie had an idea what was going to occur during their picnic at an Italian inspired winery (undisclosed location), but no one predicted how beautiful and perfect everything was going to be. The weather, the scenery, the ring, and the fun experience of a photography session right after the “I do’s”.

After waiting behind the bushes for Tim to take a knee and present Callie her stunning diamond ring, we explored the estate and vineyard together while I captured photographs of their love.

Napa wedding and engagement photography is unlike anything else I’ve seen in a while. I could get used to this!
