Weddings and Engagements

One of the many things I love about being a Northern California wedding photographer is that I get to meet such amazing people. No matter how many weddings I’ve shot since, I can’t stop thinking about how much fun we all had during Kat and Rob’s wedding last October. They’re the definition of a power couple: They both have infectious smiles, omit a positive attitude constantly, and are very generous human beings. After their engagement session in Petaluma where we played paintball and explored an abandoned industrial factory, I knew this couple and I would be friends for a long time.
The wedding was held in Cloverdale, Ca at Mountain House Estate. Its breathtaking natural beauty and rustic charm offers wedding photographers an amazing backdrop for opportunities for beautiful photographs. The Mountain House Estate is a venue where luxury meets the wine country foothills. The bride and groom getting ready areas each have their own building nearby making it easy to segregate the couple and their wedding party members. The ceremony site is on the hill with a giant oak tree in the backdrop. The reception area is near a quaint pond that overlooks the main estate, and the dance floor is in the back section with plenty of room for an epic party.
The day was filled with laughs, cries, thrills, and chills. Being a wedding photographer I’m blessed to get a front row seat inside people’s relationships, and I have no doubt in my mind that Kat and Rob are the perfect fit for each other. Look out, world! These two are going places!
