I first met Anna and Jeremy almost two years ago. This fun-loving and adventurous couple had won a free engagement session giveaway, and after shooting their engagement session in Apple Hill I could tell we’d be a perfect fit for each other. Months later, the big day had arrived.

The day started with a bridal suite full of happy bridesmaids and family members dancing to music and even beating up the bride to be with pillows. Meanwhile the men got ready in the cellar after the groom had his hair braided in traditional viking fashion. Each groomsmen was gifted a customized coin to commemorate the celebration. I had seen these types of coins before in the Army (challenge coins), but never seen it for a wedding gift. Pretty cool. In fact, the detail shot of the coins was their favorite photos from the whole day and printed a 24×36 metal print of it! You never know which photos will make the biggest impact to your couples until you show them. This is one of the many joys of being a documentary and wedding photographer.

All in all, Anna and Jeremy’s wedding was one of the most fun I’ve had all year. Great people, great energy, and a great party!
